THE LODGE is located along the lower Kern River on a rugged, oak-clustered mountain 45 minutes from Bakersfield. The property is in the historic Keyesville gold mining area and consists of 70 acres surrounded by pristine Federal land, managed by the Bureau of Land Management.

   With the main Hunting Lodge and spacious grounds available for meetings and events, this venue is recognized as an ideal setting for offsite business planning retreats. It also provides a unique, picturesque location for weddings, other formal gatherings and receptions, educational programs, executive chef cooking lessons and family reunions.

   The authentic Hunting Lodge currently offers a fireside great room setting as well as meeting and banquet space for 100.  THE LODGE at Painted Rock is scheduled to add full lodging service and a high tech conference center beginning January 2009. 

   This natural and rustic center will offer first class comfort with full service amenities, while its spacious acreage and adjoining land provide breathtaking landscapes and wildlife viewing, river sports, horseback and walking trails, and campfire barbeque settings.
